The Running Game Tactic

The aim of the Running Game plan is to bring all your pieces into your home board and pull them off as quickly as you could. This plan concentrates on the speed of advancing your checkers with little or no efforts to hit or block your opponent's pieces. The best scenario to use this strategy is when you believe you might be able to move your own pieces a lot faster than your opposition does: when 1) you have a fewer pieces on the game board; 2) all your pieces have past your competitor's checkers; or 3) the opponent does not employ the hitting or blocking plan.

The Blocking Game Strategy

The main goal of the blocking plan, by the title, is to block your opponent's chips, temporarily, not fretting about moving your pieces rapidly. Once you have established the barrier for the competitor's movement with a couple of pieces, you can move your other pieces swiftly from the board. You will need to also have an apparent strategy when to extract and shift the chips that you utilized for blocking. The game gets interesting when your competitor utilizes the same blocking tactic.
